Iron Man 2
Even with great action and awesome special effects, the stale plot of this over-hyped movie cannot be masked.
Maybe this movie should have been called Lead Man or Tin Man. What a horrible plot.
Since one thing would give the extremely shallow story away, all I will say is that this movie has barely a plot and could be told in less than ten minutes.
One scene that is unnoteworthy is a chase scene. Iron Man is moving around in a very dark environment for maybe 20 minutes going to just about every place imaginable, parking lots and parks. This is where I fell asleep the first time I watched this through. It is absolutely boring how we see so many objects in the background and Iron Man trying to dodge bullets for so long. This scene could have been trimmed to 5 minutes, possibly less. Jon Favreau, people don’t care about long action scenes unless they’re actually interesting.
The special effects, I must admit, were amazing. One of my favorite parts is when Iron Man puts on his suit from a little “suit case” and the suit just opens up on him. Whenever he takes it on or of just wows me in the time they took to put in that little thing. Tony’s holographic house is amazing too — the way it looks like he’s controlling the holograms is just amazing.
The best reason that this movie received a score higher than a seven by me was because of Robert Downey Jr.’s spectacular acting. His cocky, narcissistic genius is a very unique personality that is portrayed very well yet again in his body language, speech, and general aura.
Maybe I rated this low because I expected something more since I didn’t really like the first movie and thought the series would get better. Actually, let me take that back. The first time I watched this movie, I fell asleep, so it couldn’t have been good. I watched it two times to be able to write a review, and boy was that second time boring. If you are an Iron Man fan, it should be a good idea to watch Iron Man 2, but it’s not the best movie. I would watch it to have something to talk about with friends, but that’s just me.
I also saw this. It was amazing, but I thought there were a few parts they didn’t need. I don’t know why i didn’t think about writing this. Sweet website.

I thought it had a weak story line. Though the action was so cool and the special effects were beast. Could’ve done better. Didn’t meet the expectation of the 1st one. Did you see what happened after the credits? You see Thors hammer. Don’t like the hero (don’t like any Marvel hero really) but it may be cool.
