Killing off group members one by one, trying to escape from a maze like rats in a rat maze — haven’t we all heard this before?
Alien vs. Predator is a horribly cliche movie and one of the most awful movies I have seen. The movie was built to appeal to the ten-year-old within us with its “cool” gore and “awesome” blood. No wonder my friend who loves blood and gore loved the movie — actually, he probably liked it because of the great game that was spun off of it.
The movie is a sloppy movie where the characters are just plain stupid. For example, take one guy who walked alone into a tunnel when he knew there were aliens out there trying to kill him. The tunnel was dark, he left safety with the others, and decided to go in all because he was curious. I rest my case — stupid, eh?
There are a bunch of errors in the movie’s logic. Why would there be a whaling station in Antarctica in 1904? Why do the group go inside to investigate the pyramid when there’s obvious evidence of a destructive force that tried to reach the pyramid? (A huge mark of a laser beam) Why does Mr. Stupid love taking pictures of himself when the rest of the group tells him to stay with the group? Why didn’t they notice when they activated the booby trap when the stone underneath obviously activated after they stepped on it? How does the Italian named Sebastian know the timing of the pyramid after only the first shift of it? There are just so many dumb things in this movie where the producer is trying to fill in possible holes of dumb people trying to figure out true logic.
Alien vs. Predator, aka AVP, is a horrible film for those who are true movie lovers. If you’re a ten-year-old-kid or one at heart, not to be mean, but go for it. It’s a bit bloody and disgusting though — Netflix calls it “iffy for 15 year olds”. If you’re a fan of the series, although I haven’t watched it personally, this will ruin your perception of the before great series, as I heard from my friend.

I can see why you would not like it but if you do know the series it is fun to watch with its gore and violence. It is true that there were some illogical moments but also if you knew avp’s history some of it would make more since. Honestly I loved the movie but I still get what you’re saying.
I’m pretty sure the rest of the series was good. As I said, this ruined it. Not to be rude, but since you already watched the series, that’s exactly what you’d assume is good.
Well if you’re a critic you won’t like it. If you’re a movie lover like I am you’ll enjoy this movie. I mean isn’t aliens and things blowing up cool. What movie lover doesn’t like that huh?
It didn’t have much of a storyline.
Yes, I am a critic. :p
So what if it didn’t have a good story line it still kept your intrest. It’s an action movie. if it was a drama, then i would agree on the storyline. ethier way you love the movie or you love to hate it.
