Dinner for Schmucks, which stars Steve Carell delivers. And I mean DELIVERS! The movie revolves around 2 completely different men’s lives: Barry (Steve Carell), a goofy and weird IRS agent who plays with mice in his free time. His counterpart, Tim (Paul Rudd) is a rising executive looking to make in the big-shot world. Tim needs to find the perfect guest for his boss’s monthly event, a so-called “dinner for idiots,” which gives benefits to the executive who shows up with the biggest “loser”. Oh, and also, throw in a crazy ex-girlfriend, a Porsche thrashing a mind-controller who steals wives, an animal freak who makes disturbing art and a crazy lady who claims to be able to speak to dead animals and you’ve got yourself a pretty good movie.

Not only does the plot actually make sense, but Carell does some of his greatest work in this movie. For the first time in a while, an absolutely mesmerizing movie thats bring tears of laughter to peoples eyes has been released with a rating other than “R” ex: The Hangover, Pineapple Express. The constant jokes kept the audience entertained and yet the simplistic beauty of the plot kept the critics silent. Sure some of the jokes made were wry, but for the most part, they were legitimate jokes that made my stomach hurt. Yet the brightest and most entertaining part of the movie was Steve Carell. Carell changing from The Office’s boss to a mocked 9-to-5 “loser” may make raise some eyebrows, but all questions are answered with his acting. Seriously, if you gave me a big bag of popcorn and some soda, I would watch this movie again and again.

Dinner for Schmucks is a simple and straightforward yet beautiful comedy. My advice: Watch it! (but loose the parents)

A mystery? Yeah right.

This movie starts off as a drama with the normally great Anne Hathaway (playing Claire Summers) working as a therapist with survivors of a plane crash. Soon, survivors disappear, and Claire begins to wonder if something is wrong. Someone stalks her and the patients while doing this, and she believes the whole thing to be a massive cover-up for the airline’s failed engines.

Hathaway does act well in this movie but is greatly under capacity, like every other actor in this boring movie. There is no chance in the script to show great emotion, nor a chance to show great actions, nor a chance to do anything worthwhile. The movie remains a stoic drama under a veil of nostalgia; the viewer is placed in a seat of pseudo-suspense at the beginning of the movie and is looking for the answer but never gets it for an hour. Thus, the suspense is left at a cliffhanger for the majority of the movie, making the viewer wanting the separate, seemingly pointless new plot strand to end.

The big “surprise” was left out until probably 10 minutes before the close of the movie. Wait — isn’t a movie supposed to try to be as unpredictable as possible, you say? Not at all when the plot deviates completely from both the surprise plot and the original “fake” plot. The movie turns more into a drama between therapist and insane patient then supposedly thrilling conspiracy film. Get ready to fall asleep when you watch about 20 minutes in total of what I call “epic stares”.

If the movie focused on the conspiracy plot strand more, the movie may have been a success instead of a failure of 1/5 the budget returned. Instead, we are left with a movie that makes no sense until the end, but by the end, we are already bored, sleepy, and annoyed at the writers’ and director’s styles.

Even if you like Anne Hathaway — which is why this movie was chosen to be watched above others with less famous actors — this movie will disappoint you. Seriously.

Microsoft Office 2007 succeeded Microsoft Office 2003. It was made available to retail customers on January 30, 2007. It has many new improvements over Microsoft especially a cool graphic inter phase which makes it look a lot more professional than the Office 2003. According to Forrester Research, as of May 2010, Microsoft Office 2007 is used in 81% of enterprises so it’s a majority that Office 2007 is better.

Microsoft has released 5 retail versions of Microsoft 2007:

Office Basic 2007

Office Home and Student 2007

Office Standard 2007

Office Small Business 2007

Office Professional 2007

There are 3 more versions of 2007 but those are for employees of companies with volume licence agreements so you have to be working in big companies to get these. I personally recommend Office Professional 2007 because it gives you the most features and least amount of problems. Microsoft 2003 had a few problems but Office 2007 fixed many of them. Ugrading to Office 2007 presents dangers to certain data, such as templates, macros, and mail messages and Office Word 2007 is not compatible with Office 2003, so if you upgrade to 2007 all your word documents go “poof”.

But all in all Microsoft gave a nice product with a few bugs. If I had office 2003 I would definetly want to upgrade to Office 2007.

The game was released in North America, Australia, and Europe in November 2007 for video game consoles and Windows, was released for the Mac in September 2008 and was released for the Wii in November 2009. It is one of the best selling game of all time. It sold more than the entire Halo series and was given the highest ratings by all the professional game reviewers.

It is a must have. The graphics, game play, sound, etc was very good. If you have a game console but don’t have COD 4 you are missing a lot. My most favorite thing about the game was the campaign. In many shooter games the campaign isn’t good but COD 4 made a really good campaign with good choices of soldiers(U.S Marines, S.A.S, or Terrorists).

The campaign is very simple: you have to kill the terrorists if you are the Marines or S.A.S and you have to kill the S.A.S and Marines if you are the terrorists. You usually have a squad to help you out throughout the game and you have to reach checkpoints. Of course the four man squad you have cant be controlled by you.

This game is a must have and I feel sad for the people who don’t have it. Of course it is “M” for Mature so young children shouldn’t play it.

One of my most favourite games of all time. The game takes place in 2013 just south of the United States border, and it deals with the conflict between a Mexican Terrorist Group, and the U.S. Army. You have to be Captain Scott Mitchell who is the squad commander of a secret part of the U.S Military known as the Ghosts. The game offers nice environments from deserts to dams. The games graphics are nice. The best part is that you can control a group of soldiers, tanks, helicopters, and even drones. The controls are very precise and interesting.

There were many improvements over Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 such as change in cross-com system, which is glasses the player wears that allows a full screen view of what any unit is seeing, and the ability to direct their movements from there or tell them to take out a specific target. It also adds many new commands including Recon and Assault modes. You now even get new and better guns and soldiers.

In the game campaign you have to lead the Ghosts throughout many parts of Mexico and kill the terrorists before they can launch Nuclear Missiles on U.S cities. As you go deeper in the game it not only gets harder but it gets more intereting which is a feature I really enjoyed. And in many parts you even have to go solo or your team gets killed. The main thing I disliked in the game was the multiplayer. It did not offer any squads or tanks.

I would give G.R.A.W 2 a strong 8.5.

It’s really cool!

Ergonomic mice usually are super-expensive and cheap mice look, act, and feel cheap with horrible sensitivity and lifetime. The folks at LifeWorks, though, have created a mouse that fulfills all of the requirements of a gaming mouse while still maintaining a low price.

With its laser-mouse design, the iHome has worked on virtually any surface I have used. Although I use a mousepad, it has also worked on the actual desk, on a glass table, and hardwood. The sensor is highly sensitive at 1600 dpi, but I like to keep it at 800 dpi (there’s a button to change the setting) since 1600 is very fast. (In other words, for those who need precision, this is a great mouse.)

The mouse also glides very easily on most surfaces. It grips paper, though, so don’t be putting papers under the mouse.

As you can see, the design is highly ergonomic and fits nicely into your hand. My old mouse was a Targus Bluetooth mouse, and since it was a travel mouse, it didn’t fit nicely at all and gave me many hand pains. Ever since using this mouse, though, I’ve gotten less hand pains. The thumb curves and fits nicely in the little groove on the left, and the pinky stays nice and cozy.

I purchased my mouse at Ross (you know, dress for less) for $30 but you can also buy it at Amazon for less than $20. It’s an amazingly great deal for a laser mouse; I was surprised at the quality when I first used it. Also, it’s a plug-and-play mouse, so no driver softwares need to be installed.

Buy it here: iHome FastTrack Laser Mouse (Red)

As you can see, the design is very sleek and stylish. I’d highly recommend this mouse to anyone who wants a good, ergonomic wired mouse under $20.

When heading back from the mission there commanding officer dies from an unexpected explosion, while the plates they just came back with our stolen by another operative. They are soon a spread out to different jails to pay their time. Now it’s up to Hannibal Smith , the leader of the team, to regroup his team back together and clear their their names.

Now for all the fans out there that are worried this movie won’t do justice to the show, you have nothing to fear. This movie starts from the beginning. Like when B.A. joined or why he’s even afraid of flying in airplanes. And don’t worry about Rampage Jackson playing B.A. instead of Mr.T. Even though rampage doesn’t have that much of an acting Carer he did excellent. When Mr.T was on the show he played Mr.T not B.A., while Rampage Jackson plays B.A. in the movie. Plus Rampage does on of his signature moves which is dropping a person on there head.

The action is pretty decent just at some parts it was hard to understand what was happening when they were fighting. To much movement from the camera. Though this is true it was only like this for five seconds. Don’t go into this movie believing it to be realistic, because it’s not. That’s what makes some movie good. Like this one. There are some unrealistic stuff but it’s awesome. Like when there falling in a tank or when there in Mexico or when… I probably shouldn’t give to much away.

If you want to see an Awesome guys movie this is the one!

rating would be 9.0

This is the question that Darren Shan had to ask himself when his best bud steve got bit by a lethal spider. Steve is Darren’s best friend and he’s also the exact oppisite of Darren. Darren is the straight A popular student while Steve is the deliqwent. Darren gets caught ditching class with steve and throwing rock at the school breaking some lightbulbs. When his parent find out they say he can’t hang with Steve. Darren breaks the news to steve the next day. Thats when this car drives by and throws a flyer out for a freak show. Darren and Steve decide to sneak out and go. When watching the freak show Steve recgonizes a man who he claims is a vampiar. The guy does a cool trick with a lethal spider. Now while Steve is facinated with Vampiars, Darren likes spiders. After the show Darren sneaks into the Vampiars room to take a closer look at the spider. When looking at the spider he here’s the vampiar walking to his room. He decides to take the spider and hide in the closet. After easdroipping on the the Vampiar Steve asks if he can become a vampiar. The Vampiar say no and scares him away. Steve is out to take revenge, so he claims. The next day darren shows Steve the spider. The spider escapes and bites Steve. Darren goes to ask The vampiar to help Steve. Only exception is that Darren becomes a Vampiar. When steve finds out Darrens a vampiar hes out to get revenge on both the vampiar and Darren.

This movie wasn’t as bad as i though it would be. The Trailers were garbage. The movie it’s self wasn’t that bad. It was a little corney and cheap. Really weird with all the freaks. Storyline itself wasn’t bad though. It was very strange and dark. The boy who played Darren wasn’t that good of an actor. On the other hand The guy who played Steve did an Excellent job. They kept the movie open for a Sequal, which i will most likely see. Not in the movie theater though.

If you want a good silly simple movie this would be a good choice.

Joe: The Rise of the Cobra" width="210" height="270" />G.I JOE is about these two men who come to deliver this specialized weapon created by a man named McCullen who runs this corporation calls “Mars”. When delivering the weapon they are attacked, but saved by the G.I Joe’s. Knowing about the Joe’s the two men want to get recruited into the elite military group that is comprised of operative only known as G.I.JOE. Leader of the G.I. Joe’s is General Hawk (played by Denis Quad) is on to this trail of an evil arms organization called “Cobra”. When MCcullen is supplying the cobras with advanced weapons, which on is the “Nanomite” warhead, which once turned on at shot at something can eat through an metallic products. When The G.I. Joe’s find out that the cobras are going to test the weapon in Paris it’s up to the Joe’s to stop the evil organization from ruling the world.

This movie SUCKED! There was nothing good about it. A waste of my time. Pointless scenes of the Joe’s waiting around to hear if one of the recruits lived. LAME dialog, like when this guy about to die he’s all relaxed and only says CRAP! WHAT?! I’d be screaming blood merry or trying to eject, but definitely not say CRAP like it’s some type of video game I’m in. The graphics for this movie were so bad. They could have done those type of graphics in the 90′s it was so bad. The CGI water looked liked a back drop from the original Clash of The Titans. There was nothing good about. That’s not even the worst part. They kept it open for a sequal. OH MY GOSH! I pray every night that never happens.

The movie tells you a little of one of the characters past. That’s the probably the only part i could stand even though it was two kids fighting like pros. Doing flips and all this unbelievable stuff.

The whole movie was so kiddish. The movie may have a interesting story line ,but let me warn you, the only good thing about this movie was the END.

Loved to give it a 0 but I’ll be nice and give it a 1.0.

This movie is about two airheads who want to become famous rock stars. That will only happen if they pass there bogus history project. And let me remind you, these guys are AIRHEADS! So to help them pass there project a totally wicked dude from the future named Rufus comes to help them. It’s because of Bill and Ted that are world in the future is so peace loving and has Awesome music. So when Rufus, the totally awesome dude, takes them to the time Napoleon ruled they hatch an idea. They will gather all these historic figures and bring them to school for the project. But will they be to Ace the bogus test and win the radical chick and become a band?!

This movie was a most Excellent adventure for me. The humor in this movie was just so good. Best of all this movie is a family movie garnered more for Teens then 10 year old. To see historical characters come to our time is just hysterical. I could watch this over and over and over again. If you like a silly movie that isn’t that hard to follow then this is it. It’s Dumb and Dumber just for the whole family. They did an outrages job showing us what these best buds are like.

The filming of the movie wasn’t the best with all the straightforward shots. Being made in the 80′s it didn’t have the best visual effects. It was a whole lot better than G.I. JOE though. The movie is a little weird and sick in some parts. Teds mom is a total hottie but is married to some old fart. Napoleon is like a giant kid and Billy the Kid is actually very nice. All in all this is one of my top favorite movies.

So if you want laugh your head off and have an excellent adventure then this is a movie for you!

Oh, one more thing, be Excellent to each other and… PARTY ON DUDES!
