Willie’s Burger House

Willie’s Burger House

Willie's Burger House in Frisco, TexasNot bad for a small, independent, low-priced restaurant, Willie’s Burger House gives a delicious meal at an incredible price.

Entering Wilie’s I was immediately immersed in a blue-brown color scheme with TV’s playing sports on the walls. Immediately I imagined a full room of middle-aged men watching sports and cheering together. Not exactly a sports bar, but could be a great place to watch sports and hang out with friends. In addition, the restaurant is very CLEAN.

I ordered a $7 lunch special (not a kid’s meal) which came with a cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. I replaced the drink with a shake and was instead charged $7.86 — not much more.

The cheeseburger had a soft bun and a salty burger. The cheese was topped perfectly. The burger was not overly greasy like most other restaurant burgers. Fries were fat, soft, and very crispy and salty.

The birthday cake shake, their signature shake, was vanilla with chocolate bits in it and topped with whipped cream. The ice cream was not skimped on — it was very creamy and flavorful. Alone, the shake costs $3.79.

We went here for a band field trip and stopped by here to grab a bite. Before we arrived, the restaurant had no idea what all of us were about to order. In about 10 minutes, all orders were taken. 20 more minutes later, everyone had their order, all 50 of us band kids. Talk about fast service!

I would recommend Willie’s to money-conscious people who want to eat out and want quality burgers. It’s a great place for kids to go to (arcade) and great for the whole family.
